Pitches & accommodation
Four ways to wake up here.
Grass, hardstanding, a heated pod or a made-up bell tent. All of it on the same twelve acres, all of it a two-minute walk from the shower block.

Pitch type 01
Grass pitches
Two gently sloping fields, mown wide so nobody is camping on top of anybody. The top rows sit highest on the land — unzip the tent in the morning and you are looking east over the rooftops of Beadnell to the water.
We mark pitches with wooden pegs rather than paint, and we leave the field edges long for the swifts. Pick your own spot when you arrive; Dad will walk you up if you would rather be shown.
What's included
- Access to the heated shower block and laundry
- Hot water, washing-up sinks and chemical disposal
- Wi-Fi across both fields
- Fresh water points within 40m of every pitch

Pitch type 02
Hardstanding & touring
Twelve level, well-drained hardstanding pitches along the lower field, each with its own electric hookup and enough room to run an awning out without touching your neighbour.
The access track is tarmac to the pitch, so there is no wheel-spinning in a wet March. Motorhomes up to 8m are no trouble; if you are longer than that, ring us and we will sort you the corner bay.
What's included
- 16A electric hookup and metered top-up if you need it
- Motorhome service point and grey water disposal
- Access to the heated shower block and laundry
- Wi-Fi and tarmac access to your pitch

Pitch type 03
Glamping pods
Six insulated timber pods in the sheltered meadow behind the gorse, built by a joiner in Alnwick from Northumberland larch. Proper beds, underfloor heating, a kettle and a little veranda with two chairs facing east.
They are warm in October, which is the point. Bedding and towels are made up before you arrive, and there is a shower and loo in each one so you are not crossing a wet field at midnight.
What's included
- Bedding, towels and tea towels made up before arrival
- Underfloor heating, lighting and USB points
- Private shower room and WC
- A firepit, a bundle of logs and two deck chairs

Pitch type 04
Sea-view bell tents
Five canvas bell tents pitched along the cliff edge each summer, made up with real beds, rugs and lanterns. Camping’s romance, none of the packing — you bring a bag and a bottle.
They come down at the end of September because the autumn wind off the water is honest about what canvas can take. July and August book out by February, so early is wise.
What's included
- Beds made up with linen, rugs and cushions
- Solar lanterns and a wood-burning stove in the shoulder weeks
- A firepit and a picnic bench outside
- A basket of Beadnell bakery bread on arrival
